Piper Watts, Fall 2009 VP of the Month

This is Piper and she is in third grade at Westlake Elementary School in Westlake Village, California. Her favorite subjects are reading and math. Besides volleyball, Piper plays soccer and runs track. She also takes hip-hop dance classes, enjoys riding her bike and collecting stuffed animals.

Esther Klassen, Fall 2009 VP of the Month

This is Esther and she is 6 years old and is in first grade at Roosevelt Elementary School in Santa Barbara. She loves being outside, riding her scooter to school, and playing all kinds of games with her friends. Esther has been playing volleyball after school with VolleyPop since kindergarten and it is her favorite sport. Esther also loves learning how to spell new words, playing her daddy’s drums, and dancing around the living room! We love Esther for her wonderful sense of humor, and is very bouncy and fun to be around!

Brooke Stark, Spring 2009 VP of the Month

Meet Brooke Stark, one of our VolleyPop Spring 2009 VP’s of the Month. Brooke is 11 years old, and attends 5th grade at Westlake Hills Elementary School in Westlake Village, California. Brooke participated in our Fall VolleyPop program and impressed us greatly. Not only does she have serious hops, she demonstrated excellent eye-hand coordination, had extremely athletic movements, good ball control, was coachable and motivated, had a great attitude, and showed us leadership skills needed on the court. Watch out for that serve! Way to go Brooke!

Kevy Simmons, Spring 2009 VP of the Month

This is Kevy Simmons one of our VolleyPop Spring 2009 VP’s of the Month. Kevy is in second grade and attends Ascension Lutheran in Thousand Oaks, California. Kevy loves science and her hobbies include volleyball, handball, softball, soccer, and yes, she even sings and takes singing lessons! VolleyPop’s Coach Erik says that Kevy has a great attitude, her learning curve was as fast as he has seen, and she has a great future in the sport. We celebrate you Kevy!
